Hey all .. I'm just about to send my AOS and i have one tiny little question .... In the Visa journey guides it says to send divorce papers if either the petitioner or their spouse has been married before ... but in the actual I-485 instructions it doesn't ask for previous divorce papers .. just marriage certificate .. Anybody know one way or the other ?

I sent a copy of my divorce papers with my AOS paperwork....

I sent ours as a portion of my I-864 as the separation agreement related to my income.

It was not a portion of my husband's I-485.

We sent divorce papers with I-129F application, but only marriage certificate with AOS I-485. Don't know why they ask for divorce decree since you would not have been allowed to bring in your fiance(ee) unless you were eligible to marry. The divorce papers sent with the I-129F should already be in the file.
