Did anyone watch 60 minutes last night? There was a segment on immigration where USCIS is trying to deport a few widows of American citizens. These were legal entry aliens who married a citizen, filed for AOS but the husband died before the interview. The wives were denied at the interview because they had no spouse! You have to be married to adjust status. The cases were appealed and 4 courts ruled that they were eligible to adust status. DHS has appealed every decision and one is currently under appeal. They interviewed Michael Chertoff, Director of Homeland Security, and he said that this is just normal lawyering and it is normal to appeal any decision!! This guy sounded like a complete moron, and he is the #1 man. Pathetic. He should be taken and hung by his balls from a cherry tree on Washington common.
