After CR1... what's next?

I am starting to think about my POE (just being optimistic).. So, once I arrived in USA, I know that I will be receiving my 2 year green card and SSN (it depends if they're going to deliver it automatically OR I need to apply my SSN in the office)

My question is, what form(s) should I need to fill up and what are the next steps for me to update my CR1 Visa when I'm already in USA?

What do you mean by "update" it? Do you mean removing conditions in two years? That info is here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...p;page=751guide

Ok, i got my passport with visa now.

As i arrived in USA - i will received my GC which is good for 2 years.

Before the expiration date (90 days) of my 2 year GC- I have to file for removal of condition so that I can get another GC which is good for 10 years.

AM I CORRECT?

And when i'm already staying in USA for 3 years - I can file for citizenship.. and i can get a naturalization certifcate. Am i correct again?

Do we have to pay any amount for all of this process?

Conditional residence visa: If you have been married for less than two years when your husband or wife (spouse) gets lawful permanent resident status (gets a green card), then your spouse gets residence on a conditional basis. After two years you and your spouse must apply together to the Department of Homeland Security to remove the condition to the residence.

The investor visa (EB5 or T5/C5) is also a conditional residence. It requires an application procedure after two years to remove the condition on the permanent residence.

We haven't been married very long. Does that matter?

If the marriage is less than two years old when the foreign-born spouse becomes a permanent resident, the green card will expire after a two-year period. Both spouses must submit a joint petition (form I-751) to remove the two-year condition. You should do this 90 days before the Green Card expires.

If the consulate officer approves your relative's immigrant visa application, your relative will be issued an immigrant visa that allows your relative to become a US permanent resident. Your relative will become a U.S permanent resident only when he/she enters the U.S at a port of entry, until this time, he/she only has an immigrant visa that is valid up to 6 months from the interview date. If your relative cannot immigrate to the U.S within the 6 month allotted time, then his/her immigrant visa will expire, and the I-130 process must start all over again. Also, if your relative is your wife or husband and you have been married for less then 2 years at the time of his/her arrival at a port of entry, then he/she will receive a temporary I-551 Stamp and then later a Green Card by mail good for only 2 years. Ninety days before the green card expires you will have to file an I-751 form to remove it's conditional status.

i-751 fee for now is $465, you will have to check what the fee would be whenever you file for it in 2 years time.

Naturalization fee is -- $595 plus a biometrics fee of $80; the fee total is $675. It's form N-400. Again fee will depend upon when you file, USCIS may change the fees anytime they wish for.
