Because right after you have a baby, the first thing you want to do is get naked and weight yourself.

(As I've posted before)

Albanian women lose the weight they gained with the baby plus an extra couple of pounds the moment the baby leaves the uterus. They are back in their denim mini-skirts and tube tops in a matter of days.

Sadly, that is not my genetics...

I wanna see photo proof of that!! Really A MATTER OF DAYS??? Impossible...I don't believe one word.

I gained 50lbs with my son, lost about 15lbs right away.

Gained 30lbs with my daugher, lost 15lbs right away.

You walk down the streets of Tirana on a Summer Sunday and their is all the new moms (or 2nd, 3rd etc time moms) with their prams, heels, mini skirts, and "improved" boobs.

My SIL for one lost all the weight and was back into her normal clothing in two weeks. Mind you they are handed a cruel fate at when 35-40 they have to start wearing long black skirts and sweaters and they wrinkle over night.

Genetics I guess equal out.

My mom never lost all the weight from two kids but she doesn't look a day over 45.

OK, I'm buying that but they don't have improved boobs DAYS after they have had a baby. After 2 months, ok, after 6 months..totally but not right after birth.

@Nessa: I was actually one of those crazy moms to hop on the scale 4 days post partum (I wasn't relased from the hospital earlier because of the c/s) and I had lost 15 lbs.

I was only at the hospital one night before I was released when Allie was born and I think I had 'only' lost 12 lbs then.

I must say though. With Adam I had more water and lost all the weight within 3 months. With Allie - even though gaining less - I had a harder time getting rid of the weight. It took me I think a good 4 months to be back in my normal clothes.

Next step will be the '####### improvement' (another good poll question I think "Would you have your tatas improved after nursing for 2+ years??)
