My husband and I are a bit confused about next steps. Our I-130 was approved a few days ago, and we got the electronic notice yesterday. I'm the beneficiary. I previously had a conditional green card in 2015, but it expired in 2017 before renewing as we had relocated to Canada so we are doing the process again. I already have a US social security number. We have been married over 10 years now.

The message we got told us to submit the I-485, so we are working on that. But will we get an official I-797 in the mail as an acceptance?

Also, our I-130 happened to finally get approved while we are on a 2.5 month visit to the USA, we are here for 6 more weeks. So for our current address we have put our American address (we own the house, we bought it last year when we decided to relocate back to the States, and we visit for less than 6 months per year currently), and we put our Canadian address (we still own it and live there as our primary residence) as our second/previous address. Is that the correct way to do it?

Thanks for any tips or advice on this next stage of the process. I've found some online info but it doesn't always seem to match up with what we are holding in our hands.

My husband s grandparents went to India with a tourist visa and unknowingly overstayed there. When they tried to fly back the flight company said that they overstayed and didn t let them fly back. Can anyone please suggest what they can do to get back to the States?

My fianc and I are doing DIY and we cannot figure our how we should format the address portions under beneficiary information. Her home address and her employers addresses do not follow the same format. For example, she lives in santolan, pasig city, metro manila. What lines do her barangay, district and city go under since metro manila is not a province?

Hey, I submitted last 3 years tax returns, but most recent years income is insufficient ($16,756) because I was staying with my husband for months during it but I'm now making $41,600 which will reflect on my 2024 tax return. We got DQ but also got a Case FE Review note saying "A consular officer will decide if you meet these requirements at the time of the interview." but I unfortunately do not have a joint sponsor.

I've been living with my family in Saudi Arabia as an expatriate since ~2004 and have Iqama, School Fees, Rents/Bills, etc. to prove the fact.

Should I request NVC to move my Interview location from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia? Is it possible? Is it worth it or would it create more issues?

We are currently in the process of getting DQ (Form 1099, and W-2 left).

I've heard the wait for Islamabad, Pakistan is around 2 years long while the wait in Saudi Arabia is 1 year long but am concerned about the No. of Visas given in Saudi Arabia vs Pakistan and all other things like if I'm even applicable for shifting the location.

Any advice?
