    Hi,

I am on an L1 Visa and my spouse is on L2. We recently got our Extension approved. I received it based on I129 and my spouse based on I 539 - Applicaion to extend/change NonImmigrant Status. We both have separate I797 due to this.

In my I797 I have petiotioner Name as my employer and a receipt number. Her I797 Has no Petiotioner Name , but has Applicant Name and a separate Receipt Number than mine.

Now when I am filling the VISA scheduling form to get Visa appointment , i see there are two places with same required information ( one for Applicant and other under Dependent) .

    PETITIONER NAME

    PETITION RECEIPT NUMBER

Now I am not sure if I should use my L1 I797 for the above fields in both places ( Dependent as well) or for Dependent shall I use her Receipt Number and Her Applicant Name) as her I797 ( based on I 539) does not have petiotioner Name .

    Please help!

I am to travel with my wife for our 5th wedding anniversary next month. I still have my I-751 and N-400 pending, but I have my extension letters. I had two misdemeanor arrests with no charges or court in 2012 and 2013 for drunk in public(released in the following day) . Immigration always stop me at airport immigration but always release me after a few hours. I haven t travel internationally after the new Trump administration and I know some things changed with the new administration. Do you folks recommend me rescheduling my travel plans?

What has been your experience? Any issues?

Me (US Citizen) and wife(Chinese Citizen) met while we were both students in Japan(current location) - we've been married for just under 3y and cohabitating since 2020

Now, I am on Business Manager status here, and they've recently made it more difficult to keep said status.

I have have to submit my renewal application in September, which I plan to do, but there's a real chance I will be denied due to not meeting the new requirements.

The hard-deadline for meeting the new requirements is 2028, so I plan to move back to the US before then, but may face arbitrary renewal denial before that..

If denied, I will have 1-6 months to leave the country - depending on immigration's decision.

If I am denied on short notice, would I be eligible for DCF or would I need to separate from my wife while waiting for green card application?

Sorry for the confusing and multi-faceted question - the details of weather I can renew aren't clear to me or my lawyer yet

Additionally, we are also looking into temporarily moving to a third-country to prevent separation and wait-out the full application in the case of denial, but DCF is preferable.

Hello everyone. We are finally on the stage of completing the visa application for I-130 Sibling of US citizen. petition was filed sometime around January 2009

We had few questions on mind and trying to figure out from everyone's recent experience or knowledge. we'd appreciate if you can help with the question(s) you know answer to.

1- does the CEAC application have an expiration date? we've been sitting on it for few months now since there were circumstances in the family.

2- If adding petitioner/primary sponsor's spouse (button-Add Household Member) required? petitioner's spouse has been hospitalized for several months now and her employment was terminated; we want to know if petitioner MUST add her to dashboard and complete her I864A or adding her is optional since no income from her will be used

3- Petitioner is self-employed, is most recent 1040 good for current annual income? any other suggestions? Please note, petitioner does not meet income requirement and will add joint sponsor in this case

4- Can joint sponsor not add his spouse as well and complete I864A if his individual income is sufficient?

I'd appreciate if you can help answer the questions above. Thank you

    Hello,

I sent off two I-130 applications for my mother and father. Has anyone been approved recently? If so, from your experience, how long was your processing time? Just trying to figure out what month they are currently working on.

    Thanks!
