Community SpotlightDV Lottery of K1 Visa - Can I file for both?
Petrisaint Mpaka posted a topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures,
I applied for the DV lottery 2025 and hope to be selected this year. My fiancé and I discovered that there is a fiancé visa for the USA. Do you think if we apply for the K1 visa but are selected for the DV lottery that we can stop the fiancé visa process? What are the timelines and options here :)?-

Confused about steps after marriage
SP1988 posted a topic in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas,
My fiancee arrived last month on K1 fiance visa and we got married yesterday. It seems from what I have seen online that I made a mistake by not getting SSN prior to marriage? I am going to the SSN office on Monday to gather more information... also worried about employment authorization and travel authorization(s). Thanks for any insights!-

Tourist visa cancelled by CBP agent. Can we still get a CR1 or K1 Visa?
yotajeeper posted a topic in What Visa Do I Need - Family Based Immigration,
Upon my gf's most recent arrival, her tourist visa was cancelled at the airport due to her frequent visits last year and suspicion of working here. She was denied entry and sent back same day. Is a CR1 or K1 visa process an option still? I would appreciate any advice or tips you can provide!-

2 RepliesSo I got the Notice of Action after I submitted my AOS packet for my K1 spouse and K2 child. I made their online accounts on myUSCIS and immediately had an RFE for the for I-864 on both accounts. My question is do I send an RFE response for both accounts? Because they both have the same RFE, or do I just need to send one evidence request in one account?
Philippines K1 visa Schedule Interview before receiving email? 10:28 pm today

1 RepliesHello I'm new here.
My K1 visa has been approved, 129f done and I completed the DS-160 and paid.
Up until now the lawyer has handled everything and he told me to just wait for the email with instructions to schedule her interview and medical.
I've been reading the forum and I am seeing that you don't have to wait for the email from the embassy to schedule the interview and medical?
Can someone tell me how to do this? Where do I go to schedule the interview and medical without receiving the email yet from the embassy in Manila?
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks

1 RepliesMy wife and I have recently quit our job and decided to travel back to my country for vacation for four months right after our apartment lease is up because we didn't want to pay the rent for it since it is going to be vacant anyway. I have submitted my N400 application using my friend's address who lives in the same city as us since we don't live in the previous apartment anymore and yes I met all other residency requirements (90 days in the state of where I'm applying and have been living in the US continuously in the past 5 years). The tricky thing is we have decided to move to a new state for better job opportunities and we did move to a new state last week, as the result I have just transferred the N400 case from the old address to the new address that we are currently living in. Does it seem like it is going to be an issue during the interview? If so, what should I be doing now?
Applying under 3 year rule. TIA
