Ok, so hubby is finally thinking of obtaining his citizenship. We understand most of the documentation that is required, but I keep seeing pop up providing proof of the relationship. Now we've been married going on 17 years (and he's lived in the US for nearly 16). We have tax documents, mortgage documents etc, but we don't really do 'photos'. Is this going to be an issue when he gets to any interview stage? Just trying to figure out if we have to bite the bullet and actually take pictures.

Hi, I wanted to see if this was ok before applying.

When I first entered the country, it wasn't the state where my spouse lived. They were on a work trip, but we wanted to do entry to get the ball rolling.

I spent about 10 days with them in a residence hotel, then went back home for 2 months to wrap up some personal matters. I did bring belongings that would stay with my spouse as I did consider this starting to move to the US.

When I entered the second time it was to the state I would be residing in. I did take another trip home, but under 6 months, my main concern is, is it an issue that I wasn't in the state where our home is for the first few months.

What did y'all use to demonstrate 3 years of living together?

Seems like a lot of printing to include 3 years of bank and credit card statements, 3 years of lease, etc.. How did y'all organize your evidence?

I'm applying for a DS-160 and for the past few weeks I've been trying to move forward with the application but I simply cannot find a way to get past the Photo Confirmation step.

My photo gets approved and passes they standard requested but I cannot move ahead and click on the "Next: Review" button.

Even if the photo meets the criteria, I've tried everything (I think): resizing the photo, taking different head shots, tried with different browsers (chrome, safari, opera), cleared the cookies and cache of the browser - nothing seems to work. The button 'Next: Review' is greyed out and I cannot click on it.

Does anyone known what could be the issue? I've tried to google it and see a couple posts on this forum but couldn't get it to work.

Any help is much appreciated.

I lived abroad for a long time, and was filing haphazardly for many years. I suddenly got married, and am figuring out what to do now.

Currently, I am back filing now. But I also have a financial sponsor.

I have a business that I've been running online, but only the business is under my name. I don't have any personal accounts that I can report to the IRS.

So as an individual, I don't have anything to show.

However, I am making enough money from my business to survive and bring my wife over.

Can I back file to the IRS, without showing anything in my personal accounts? (How can I do that?)

Is the financial sponsor enough?

I've made a mess, and I need help!
