I have been a LPR for 7 years through marriage with a US citizen, and applied naturalization this year.

I have never held a 2 year (conditional GC?) green card I have received the 10 year one, as we had been married over 3 years by the time of my I-485 interview happened.

I didn t really think twice about filing a I-751 as I ve never held a 2 year GC I thought it was pretty obvious and straightforward, but I can t seem to find anything through searching. After seeing someone post their denial for not having filed I-751, I m a little scared!

It s a little late, but do I need it? should I file it now?

Wife has her US Citizenship. We bought land in the Philippines for retirement hopefully by next summer. She tried to get an appointment at an outreach center and I uploaded everything they asked for. However the issue is although we filed the ROM in 2019, they said that was just a certified receipt that they received it, but we need to get a "certificate" from the PSA in order to continue. She already has a US passport with her married name AND renewed her Ph passport in her married name. $20 per copy and DHL is over $100 for delivery. I just wanted to be sure they are not going to just send us a copy of the copy that is was received and filed. Anyone?

Hi all. As the topic said, we are wondering if I need to go to my K1 interview in London with originals of petitioner s documents or the scanned sent to me will be good enough? Especially divorce certificate (and also affidavit of support, tax returns).
If scanned copies are okay, do they need to be signed by petitioner?

Hello, everyone. I applied for I-485 based on a K-1 visa in April this year. A few days ago, I received an RFE asking for additional proof of our married life since the ceremony. In our initial application, we only submitted our marriage certificate and wedding photos as bona fide relationship evidence. The screenshot shows what the RFE is requesting.

So far, we ve gathered the following evidence:

• Joint lease agreement
• Joint auto insurance policy
• Proof of living at the same address (driver s licenses, pay stubs, bank statements, Costco membership)
• Evidence of being listed as emergency contacts for each other at work
• Additional wedding photos
• Photos from other life events
• Sworn affidavits from my spouse s family

After getting married, my spouse and I have taken on different financial responsibilities. He pays for rent and internet, while I cover auto insurance and groceries. We handle the remaining expenses separately. I added my spouse as an authorized user on my credit card, and he added my name to the internet bills after receiving the RFE.

My questions are:

1. Should we open a joint savings account to strengthen our case?
2. Will actions taken after receiving the RFE raise any red flags with USCIS?
3. Does the evidence we ve gathered so far seem sufficient for approval?
4. Do we need to notarize the sworn affidavits? We are aware that we should include a government ID for each of them.

I have an ongoing N-400 application that was submitted a few weeks ago. I applied by the 5-year rule, GC not derived via marriage

I have seen conflicting information on the tax transcripts and tickets, so here are my questions:

• Tax transcripts: Should i upload 4 years worth of tax return transcripts in Unsolicited Evidence? I have the transcripts from IRS website.
  I have never missed filing taxes, never owed taxes and also never been outside the US for > 6 months . The filing instructions do not explicitly say taxes must be uploaded.
  
• Speeding ticket: I have one speeding citation that i entered details for in the N-400 form. I have the documentation, but did not upload documentation as per filing instructions (no DUI, accident, injury)
  
• Parking ticket: I realized I got a parking ticket for staying overtime at a meter a month before I applied for N-400 and i never included this.
  Should parking tickets be mentioned?
  I am concerned if parking ticket is same as a speeding ticket?

Please provide your thoughts and experiences to help me with this.
