Abandoned AOS and now regret it
Please be nice, I know I made a mistake... But got my K1 approved and arrived in the US June 25, 2024 and applied for AOS February 25, 2025 -- then left the US (abandoned my AOS). Will I be banned for re-entry to the US -- even under a spouse visa?

US Citizen with Foreign Fiancé: When and How to Get Married?
I'm currently living and working in the United States. My fiancé currently lives in Japan. We have been dating for about 6 months, and we have met in person several times, but we are not yet married.
My fiancé will be visiting me in the United States on a tourist visa some time in March or April and staying for about 3 months. I want to file for a fiance/spouse visa asap -- what's next?

N400: Admitted to Weed during Green Card (was it a crime I was not arrested for?)
To start, marijuana is illegal in my country of origin. When I was applying for my green card I admitted to trying marijuana when I was in my 20's (I'm 49 now). I got my green card and have lived in the US for 5 years. I'm in the process of applying for citizenship. What answer should I give to the question: "Have you EVER committed, agreed to commit, asked someone else to commit, helped commit, or tried to commit a crime or offense for which you were NOT arrested? Yes or No" given that I admitted to past marijuana use during the GC process?

Fiancée threatened with deportation by customs agent after arriving at airport for false accusations. How concerned should we be?
Firstly, I want to get some things clear because I know everyone will say this otherwise:
We are seeing an immigration attorney for consultation soon. We've already printed out several documents to prove that my fiancée is not coming here with the intent to live here for the future until they get the K-1 Visa... Now, Heres the actual story...

Fiance or Marriage Visa in 2025 ? Pros and cons?
    I'm 23F 🇨🇿, my partner is 29M 🇺🇲
We want to get our visa going sometime this year and want to be together as soon as possible but we are still unsure which visa would serve us better. I'd like to get married in my home country but on the other side i wouldn't mind getting married paperwise in the US and waiting for my work permit and etc if it would allow us to be together faster and then save up for and have our dream wedding in my home country.

What do you think ? All of this is so overwhelming and confusing and we just want to do the right thing.

I asked the same question on reddit, so many people recommended me to go with fiance visa, two suggested marriage visa. I need more input and advice  from experienced people. Thank you
Ps: is it possible to have dual citizenship so i don't lose one from my home country? How does that work ?

Hello! This is my first time writing here.

My husband is military, we are station overseas and my I130 approved and activated my GC last September 2024. I waited 90day before I inquire why I haven't received my GCand they responded that they didn't recevied my IV packet and I have to make an appointment in my local field. Is anyone have the same situation? We don't have any USCIS closeby to us and we are not coming back to the states until my stamp will expired. Any idea what to do with this situation? TIA

    CSPA for derivative applicant family?

Hello. I am a US citizen, filed I-130 for my adult married son in August of 2010, petition approved in April of 2014, so pending 3.59 years. Visa number in the F3 category will be available in April of this year. My granddaughter will turn 21 years of age in mid-April. The earliest the visa interview can be scheduled is end of April after she will turn 21. Will she age out or not? According to some sources I read, the principal applicant's parent's interview must occur prior to derivative applicant's 21 birthday for derivative not to age out. However, USCIS website has information that CSPA also applies to derivatives and to subtract the number of years the I-130 has been pending from their age at time of interview, so does that mean my granddaughter will not age out as her CSPA age will be 17.5 years at time of interview? Thank you.

If my DS-3025 has expired by the time of the interview, do I need to prepare an I-693?

When I applied for I-485(Adjustment of Status), I submitted DS-3025(which was within a year) instead of I-693 because I was K-1 visa holder.

Now I'm about to have interview with USCIS, and since my DS-3025 has expired(which is more than a year now), should I prepare an I-693?

I have not yet received RFE for this matter.

    Thank you in advance!

I'm gathering the documents today to file online my wife's N-400 under 5-year green card rule. I am a U.S. citizen by naturalization. What documents do I need to scan? Any advice?

Hi, the petition for the K1visa was forwarded to the embassy in Abu Dhabi. However, my fiancee lives in the Philippines for several years.
      she had police clearance already.
We are trying to transfer the case to Manila but still waiting for a response.

Hi everyone! just wondering on NOA2 (I-797) there is a validity on the form. What does it mean ?
If you happen to go past to the validity what should you do?
We're on a K-1 (fiance visa) application and still waiting up to this day our NVC number.
      Thank you ♥

Did she get to you Benjamin? I pray so! St Lukes just sent the good results of her sputum form 8 weeks ago and we sent the embassy the couple required originals that they needed to meet the 221g request. Praying it is not still months, but It has been a couple years of pure hell and I expect nothing less at this point. The good news is that I have been able to visit here in the Philippines often and we have built a wonderful house that I love. I consider the Philippines my home, but want my wife to experience the US and meet my family for a bit.  Godspeed!!
