Community SpotlightDV Lottery of K1 Visa - Can I file for both?
Petrisaint Mpaka posted a topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures,
I applied for the DV lottery 2025 and hope to be selected this year. My fiancé and I discovered that there is a fiancé visa for the USA. Do you think if we apply for the K1 visa but are selected for the DV lottery that we can stop the fiancé visa process? What are the timelines and options here :)?-

Confused about steps after marriage
SP1988 posted a topic in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas,
My fiancee arrived last month on K1 fiance visa and we got married yesterday. It seems from what I have seen online that I made a mistake by not getting SSN prior to marriage? I am going to the SSN office on Monday to gather more information... also worried about employment authorization and travel authorization(s). Thanks for any insights!-

Tourist visa cancelled by CBP agent. Can we still get a CR1 or K1 Visa?
yotajeeper posted a topic in What Visa Do I Need - Family Based Immigration,
Upon my gf's most recent arrival, her tourist visa was cancelled at the airport due to her frequent visits last year and suspicion of working here. She was denied entry and sent back same day. Is a CR1 or K1 visa process an option still? I would appreciate any advice or tips you can provide!-

1 RepliesJust need thoughts and/or opinions on a case matter..
A us citizen is petitioning a fianc ..
the fiance (beneficary) 3 years ago made an illegal entrance through ground and was caught 4 times. 3 of those times fingerprints and pictures were taken and sent to jail .. only lasted for a few days and sent on a bus back to the border and the fiance voluntarily went back to their country. Was given no documents no paper NOTHING!!!! whatsoever. Not considered deported if voluntarily went back. Pictures were taken in mcallen tx & mexico
So.. the petitioner had the fiance fill out fingerprint cards to turn into and send to FBI and FOIA to look if appeared in the system to fill out the k1 fiance visa without any issues.
the results came back in 2 months .. and showed clear with nothing was found with the information we gave meaning the fiance has a clean and clear background.
The petitioner took those results to 3 lawyers and they all said there was no problem in processing the k1 fiance visa because that indicated that the fiance was never deported. And has a clean background.
The question is.. where is the fiance information at then? The fingerprints & the photos taken?
will the fiance have problems in the interview when asked have you ever been to the us what will they answer?
The petitioner sent those results along with the I-129 .. so far no rfe it s been 51 days since uscis received.
Please share thoughts or opinions.

1 RepliesThey were hired at a local establishment , 1-2 hours in training decided they didn't want to continue at the place. (uncomfortable environment)but weren't paid for it and then there was change in ownership and didn't really pursue it. Is it considered employed or unpaid training and how to treat it while submitting jobs in the past 3 years. Thanks

3 RepliesAmong other imporant documents and proof, my wife (F-1 visa, doing AOS for her) and I want to submit screenshots of phone records. We have been together 2 years and have video call "proof" that also shows the duration of each call by the day. For those that submitted phone call as part of evidence, how many did you submit? As in, screenshots of every single day's call from when you met, just the last 6 months, a few days per month from when you met, etc. Thanks!
