How exciting! I still use my dad's ooooooooold Singer from the 60s. Yes, my dad. Mr Air Force Man's Man was a kick ### crafter :)

JoAnn Fabric does a lot of classes, usually for free or a nominal fee. So if you have one near you, check there.

I like the idea of checking your city community center (or community college). My community center offers the same thing. We've got fencing lessons, all the way to pottery classes and they are so inexpensive. Have fun!

I am a certified craft junkie. I sew , spin , weave, knit , crochet and do stained glass. Keeps me occupied will I wait on the visa. But for sewing check out your local fabric store for classes and your cities community classes. You would be suprised what they teach. Where I live you can take both archery and bellydancing from the city.

Oooh, spinning and weaving. That's cool.

I used to really love hooking rugs so when we cleaned out the garage I fould a big bag full of yarn. Hum, wonder what to make this time :blink:
