An LPR is LPR permanently, just need to renew the card every 10 years by filing I-90 and paying a fee, no interview, but still have to do BIO for updated picture, OR you can apply for citizenship and then never have to deal with immigrations again. ALSO LPR has to file AR-11 every time they move, US Citizen sponsor has to file I-865, but if you become a citizen, this too ends.
