what if we dont send it back and just send filled DS-230 form?

They may have just added it to India, but DS-2001 is a form for the Embassy in Brazil to notify them that the people applying for a visa have all their documents and are ready for an interview.

what are is the right time to take the police certificate if you are in india? will it be ok that i go for it once i receive DS 240 forms or earlier? Just curious as i heard it would be valid only for 3 months!!

I think you are talking about the DS-230 forms. The police report is one of the required items to sent with this form, so once you send in the payment, you should get the police report so you will have it ready.

I was so nervous that i got my PCC 4 months ago. My is valid for 1 year. You can get PCC's as soon as you get Ds-230.

In Colombia you can get your vaccines from the same doctor who does the medical. You should call the offices of the doctors who do the medicals in your country and ask them.

hey Dunhill,

with DS-230 you have to send biographic xerox ( photocopy) of the intending immigrants passport.

After the case gets complete and then you will get interview letter.You CANT do medical without having interview letter in your hand. So the question of taking vaccines doesnt arrive till your case is complete.

There is no Link to check the validity. The PCC issued by passport office is valid for 6 months and one issued by the local police department is valid for a year.

I been working in another state/city away from home address for last few years, so should i get the PCC from both the palces or one from my home town will do?

You have to get PCC fromt he places where you have stayed for more than 6 months after age of 16.

If your passport was issued within last 6 months .. its not mandatory... But still its better to get it.. will take 300 Rs and ur a day to obtain it
