The US also worships pets. A lot of people who are anti children treat their pets as children. I find that annoying.

But do you have to sit in a restaurant or theater next to a screaming pet? Does anyone have to pay taxes to send pets to obedience school or fund pet health insurance? Some people get carried away with pets, agreed, but for the most part as long as they take care of them how do they annoy you?

Because some of them are very passionate about not having children and want you to know it, but expect you to care about their pets and look at a million pics of them. hehe. I think if someone is not into kids, they don't have to insult those who are into kids. The example of calling kids 'spawn', it's like if I called people's pets 'flea bags' all the time since I don't really like pets. But I think that's rude to do, so I don't.

I agree screaming babies can be irritating. But that doesn't mean children existing in general are bad.

I do understand how people with lots of children, and especially children who misbehave would be annoying to those without children. However, I think part of living in society means accepting that other people will have children. If that is too much to handle, then you should probably go live on an island somewhere.

OR it could be like it was when I was growing up.... kids either behaved in public, or they didn't go. I can't recall seeing many kids going berserk while the parents were oblivious when I was a kid. I know for damn sure that *I* would have gotten my ### smacked and I wouldn't be allowed in a restaurant for a while....

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I agree with you on the behaving thing.

So then the problem is the parents, not children. Aha! :P How the problem started I am not totally sure but I have worked with kids and have seen a lot more bratty behavior these days than when I was a kid.

I'm not sure anyone said, their existence is bad...I mean we all started there.

As I said, kids are great, when they are someone elses. I love my nieces to bits and have worked with LOTS of pre-school to teenage kids. But I don't want any of my own and DO think some people don't think when it comes to the numbers of kids they have.

Also, I think there are just as many parents (and grandparents) who will show you gazillions of photos of their kids of grandkids and you have to think every baby is the most beautiful and special. I've seen a lot more photos of people's kids than their pets.

too true...

also, I think parents need to have a better grasp on where it's appropriate to bring the kids in tow and maybe causing the kids to become crabby, tired, and screamy in the first place. Not every environment is meant for kids. For example, I was at an art show this weekend and saw a few toddlers in strollers. They didn't get on my nerves because they weren't crying or irritable at the time, but c'mon, how special could that have been for those toddlers and how long did they last before becoming irritable?

I hate it when I'm walking from my mailbox to my car and someone azzholes dog insists on running up to me and sniffing me the entire way. If it was legal, I'd ###### kill it. I hate dogs and I hate people who let theirs run loose.

lol..everyone knows in america..dogs hate Indians

And I hate 'em right back. If people want to live among animals, they should leave human areas and go live in the freaking jungle.

Generally, no, it is not the children. Hence my comment about my "ideal" of people not having kids until they're 30 or so. People these days are WAY more immature for their age than people used to be. I include myself in that, before anyone tries to run with it. Immature, self-centered people having kids = bratty, annoying children.

As for other terms used in my posts...

Spawn: I use this definition - "2. To produce offspring in large numbers."

F##k Trophy: That seems to be what children are to a large number of people; trophies of past encounters. Other people seem to collect them, like cat figurines. When the house is too quiet, some people want to fill it up with more screaming and crying. My advice, adopt a kid or start a babysitting service.

Kids are NOT the problem, the parents are. Big difference.

How they raise the kids, and if they are raising them at all..... and how much they respect others in places where they are going....

Kids are the real image of their parents and it is not the kids fault that they were born.....

The fact is also that there are some good behaved kids out there, except everyone focuses on spoiled screaming kicking brats

I agree...but I also believe it takes a village to raise a child. That's why the village idiot is in the White House...his parents kept him inside too much.

If the village = extended family and friends, I'd agree, but not if it = more government programs.
