How do you deal with stress? Stress has been too much lately. There's the work stress...the hospital's going for ISO certification and have to beat deadlines, there's the terrible patients, doctors, etc, and the interview stress. I sleep so late every night spending so much time on interview document preparation (feels like im going to have a theses defense..whew!!!). And just this evening mom called from the other side of the province and told me she is so sick she needs to be confined in the hospital... I feel guilty thinking that i am flying to manila on monday for my Medical on January 29 when mama is sick.. Good thing my bro will take care of mama at the meantime while i am not around.

Good thing too that my sweetheart and I talk everyday even just for a few minutes (it keeps my sanity intact...hehehe). My bestfriend pup also help keep the stress level down and of course VJ...for the tutorials on how to arrange these documents from start to finish Only a few more days and this will be over and our STRESSED selves will enjoy our DESSERTS. After all....stressed is really desserts spelled backwards :)

PS. Anyone going to SLEC on Jan. 29? see you there

How do you deal with stress? Stress has been too much lately. shining_angel, there is good stress and bad stress. Excercise is good stress. The kind of stress you are experiencing is bad for your health even if it is short term. There are many ways to manage stress and each individual results will vary.

If I may, I will suggest a few ways to manage stress. First try to look at the situation and realize what you can control and want you cannot. Try not to worry about what you cannot control. Also, try to take a few minutes each day for me time. Even if it is just to close your eyes and take a deep breath when things get too hectic. Another method is to try and deal with each stressor one at a time, i.e. work conflicts, interview, sickness in family, etc.

These are just a few pointers as stress management can take plenty of training. I hope this will help as much as you writing out your stressors.

Yes It is almost over shining_angel God bless you and We will pray for your Mama... I would like having dinner with all of my VJ family once we are there.. I am easy to spot. A country of black haired people and me with white hair. hehehehe. So if anyone sees me say hi I am scared and also excited. I leave in a week. It is strange knowing my long wait is almost over..

God is on our side and will guide us all through the stress.
