February interviews at US Embassy Manila

I got a text message this afternoon from an unknown number...telling me to get my package from the embassy in their apartment...i was like...WHAT????? i dialled the number and man on the other line asked me if i am Miss Shining Angel...i said yes..i asked him how come my packet was delivered to his house....he said it was addressed to their address.....we have the same house number????huh????? The man who received my packet was kind enough to go to the hospital to give me the package....the packet 4 and the precious appointment letter...

My address written on the appointment letter from the embassy is CORNER WHITE PLAINS but the address on the DHL envelope is only WHITE PLAINS. Maybe the person who wrote my home address was too tired to copy the CORNER word and because of that one missing word my packet was delivered to the wrong address. Good thing they wrote my contact number in the receipt slip of the DHL package that's why the person who received my packet was able to contact me.

I have the appointment letter now. . .they stapled a small piece of paper in the packet about the CENOMAR. and they crossed out the 100$ fee with a ballpen and replaced it with 131$.

yes..good neighbors indeed..it was even raining super hard when he went to the hospital to give me the packet good luck on your up coming appointments at the embassy and SLEC.....the stresses of these appointments are starting to creep in....nervous..nervous..nerv..ous..

hey guys!!!

I received my packet yesterday morning and i went to bpi to pay the $131 visa interview fee today...

I'm planning to have my early physical exam tomorrow instead of January 30...i hope it'll only take 1 day to finish...

Who's going to have early medicals tomorrow?

Hope we can get together....=)

Just got Case Complete Yesterday..

I just hope I will be able to be part of this thread and get a late Feb Interview..

i hope i get to meet and see her at the embassy...

by the way i had my 1st day of early medical today..

it went fine and smooth sailing...

my advice, just go to SLEC really early to avoid the crowd...

Hello everyone... I'm glad to see some progress in here... but I haven't received my Packet 4 yet... :-( I already planned to have an early Medical on January 23 instead of February 1. I have read from K1 Guidelines and it says I can just call SLEC for Packet pick up. But my questions are:

1. If I'm planning for early Medical, is it "COMPULSORY" to call SLEC before I'll have my early Medical? Or I can just go to SLEC and bring the required documents?

2. And in case I'll call SLEC for Packet 4 pick up but days before or after the early medical, DHL will deliver my Packet 4, I would have 2 Packets then, am I right? Does it happen before? Is this the usual scenario if one would call for Packet pickup at SLEC? One would eventually have 2 Packets?

I'm a little confused. I'm not so sure if it is COMPULSORY to call SLEC for Packet pickup before my plan early Medical on January 23. My flight is already booked and ready for that day, as well as my leave of absence from work. I also have the needed documents for the Medical too.

I would really welcome your inputs.

Why can't the petitioner send that one to the Philippines. Instead of waiting..

I spoke to a NVC rep yesterday.. I was harassing her on when do I get Interview date. lolz..

Here is how she break it down..

NVC schedules Interview appointment for CR/IR applicants. They are being scheduled starting the 2nd week of the month.

USEM schelues Interview appointment for K1/K3 applicants. They are being scheduled on the 1st 2 weeks of the month..

This is what she explained to me..

That is why I still have my hopes for a Feb Interview since I haven't seen/heard any CR/IR appointments being posted yet..

I kept on harassing her about the Interview question.. I guess she got fed up and told me They would try their very best to put me in Feb. But can't promise me.. No prediction or whatsoever..
