Does anyone here pplan to have the CFO seminar before their interview?

hello honeybear....

i plan to attend the CFO seminar after my medical appointment on Jan.29-30. maybe jan.31 or feb 1.... my interview is scheduled on feb 5.

hello, after your medical you can't have your CFO if you dont have your passport with you. St. Lukes will take it together with your medical results and forward it to the embassy. You can only have it back once they have given you the visa.

Jovy's interview scheduled for February 8 in MNL!! 2007833XXX (not sure what that number is used for here, but what the hey)

No packets 3/4 received yet, but excited to know timing of next steps. We can almost pick a wedding date now. I've been afraid to put any money down with such date uncertainty looming.

I am so happy too Tanjay that at last there's someone from VJ who will have an embassy appointment on the 5th of feb. Congrats on your packet 4....i dont have the packet yet though.... it's holiday today up to Jan 01. maybe they will deliver it on the 2nd of Jan. or maybe next week. Happy New Year Everyone

Why can't you do the CFO guidance and counseling thing without the passport? Joy's plan is to do the medical, then go to CFO for the guidance and counseling seminar. My understanding is, since she won't have her passport, the CFO will give her a guidance and counseling certificate. Is this incorrect? I realize, of course, that after she gets the visa, she will need to go back to CFO and have her passport stamped, but she won't need to worry about the guidance and counseling seminar. Am I missing something?

I have a question please... I'm wondering if I need to be the one to received the Packet 4 when DHL will deliver it to my address. I'll be at work the whole day and would usually be home by night time already. Will DHL just leave the packet with anybody at my address, like for example my landlady? Do i need to leave an authorization letter to my landlady, and would they accept that?

Hi Marivic! This is Dan. Unfortunately, Jovy has no internet access so has never been to the website here. I have given her many printouts of information from here when i went to visit. She lives in Santo Nino, South Cotabato about 2 hours drive north of Gen San. I am sure she would love to have a friend through this process. If you like, you can send me a private message with your cell number and I can give it to her, or I can give you her # as well. I talk to Jovy every night, since we can't message or e-mail each other. I don't really know the benefits of having an early medical, so I think she is planning to go there as scheduled on February 1. We have to make sure we have all our forms filled out in advance! I got a text message this afternoon from an unknown number...telling me to get my package from the embassy in their apartment...i was like...WHAT????? i dialled the number and man on the other line asked me if i am Miss Shining Angel...i said yes..i asked him how come my packet was delivered to his house....he said it was addressed to their address.....we have the same house number????huh????? The man who received my packet was kind enough to go to the hospital to give me the package....the packet 4 and the precious appointment letter...

My address written on the appointment letter from the embassy is CORNER WHITE PLAINS but the address on the DHL envelope is only WHITE PLAINS. Maybe the person who wrote my home address was too tired to copy the CORNER word and because of that one missing word my packet was delivered to the wrong address. Good thing they wrote my contact number in the receipt slip of the DHL package that's why the person who received my packet was able to contact me.

I have the appointment letter now. . .they stapled a small piece of paper in the packet about the CENOMAR. and they crossed out the 100$ fee with a ballpen and replaced it with 131$.
