My K-1 Wife and K-2 Daughter and I are about to move. Our AOS case has been at CSC since last July and last online update was on Aug. 28........so sort of on hold......don't know why.

I would like some input from people who have changed address by filing the AR 11 online and also by phone and/or submitting the form by snail mail. What works best?

I also need some help with a couple of questions on the form.

1. I am in the U.S. as?

Should this be answered as K-1?

2. If not a Permanent Resident, my stay in the U.S. expires on?

As a K-1 waiting for AOS........what would be the correct answer on this one? It requires a mm/dd/yy format. Would this be the expiration date on the I-94? If not then what would the answer be based on?

Thanks in advance for your help!

1 Check "Other" and put K-1

2 You do not have green-card (Permanent Resident)

3 Yes put I-94 expire date.

4 US Citizen spouse must also file I-865 to indicate sponsor moving.

Call USCIS and get address changed on the case, and then call a day or so later to confirm address change. Moving is a big risk, if interview letter is mailed to old address and is lost, you risk missing an interview and being put down as no show and abandoning the AOS case, and then have deportation proceedings started.

You may even want to do an INFO Pass appointment to make sure USCIS has the correct new address.

I read too many times of nightmares from moving during immigrations process.
