I am preparing to mail to my fiance the G-325 forms in Brazil for her signature, i completed one form by hand, is it ok to make copies of that original form i completed by hand or do i need to complete each of the 4 copies by hand?

Also a follow up question, I am getting conflicting information on the amount of time it will take for her to come from Brazil to the USA, using the K-1 visa, or the K-3 visa....(if i choose to marry her in Brazil). With the K-3, I have heard 1 to 2 years time, but also, I have heard it is equal to, or a few weeks to a month or two past the K-1 time frame. please explain. :help:

The fillable version you download will fill the other three pages when you complete the first. It is not four copies. It is four different pages with the same information.

Check the timelines for Brazil.

If you make copies, make a copy of pages 1 through 4. The information is slightly different at the bottom of each page and each G325A must contain an original signature.

Naturalization

3/23/14 - N400 package sent to Phoenix

3/27/14 - N400 package delivered

4/3/14 - NOA1 receipt date

4/4/14 - check cashed

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

xx/xx/xx - Oath Ceremony

Uh-oh, I hope I did the right thing - I only sent G copies of each page where he needs to sign and/or write his name and address in Devanagari for the G-325A, I-129A and I-130. I sent lots of extra copies(in case I make a mistake) and left them blank - will fill out the rest of the information when he sends them back to me.

Wait a min!!! I read that only the first page needs signature... My wife signed and dated all 4 pages but I only signed the first page... We didn't get the package kicked back but then again I used ACCO fasteners (or what ever they are called) mabey they felt sorry for me.... shishhhh I even did the second package in ACCO... hmmmmm mabey an RFE is comming for sure this time.... OMG

On a different note: Why arent't there post guides for K visas??? At least there is nothing after you file the I-129/I-130 in the "Guides" section for the K-3.... Just a thought Ewok!!!!

pushbrk shishhhhh back off a little!!!

The actual form is in quadruplicate with carbons, so you would sign once. The downloaded forms should have a signature on each page. However, I would relax at least a little about an RFE. USCIS actually has a directive not to reject or RFE cases for missing signatures on G325a if they are otherwise properly filed. The form is purely biographical and the same information will be on the actual visa application that must be signed later.
