Hi Everyone!

I am finally ready to start this process, and I must say thank you to the folks who put together this website. I can tell that it will help me a great deal with peace of mind and any future questions. I feel very fortunate that I happened to find it by accident this morning.

Again, I hope to send off the initial packet for the K1 visa this coming week. It has been a long and winding road due to so many circumstances. It's hard not to feel ill inside at this time of year again with the knowlege that I will be alone again for the holidays. I cannot go visit him again until the next calendar year due to my lack of vacation time. It's heart-breaking at times to only have the internet to speak to each other on an almost daily basis. I cannot wait for the time we can be together, but I know I am in good company from the stories that I have already read on this website.

Wish us luck!

It just kills me that we have waited for more than 2 years for one very small piece of paper, about 3" x 4" to go into his passport.
