Affidavit of Support I-134

My fiance (petitioner) makes $45,000 a year and has no assets and lives paycheck to paycheck. Although he meets the requirements regarding the poverty line... should we be worried about whether or not they will consider him to be sufficient support? (i.e. will they require a co-sponsor)?

I think you should be fine.

As long as he meets the requirement.

Perhaps he should see someone about budgeting.

Where on the i-134 form does it allow you to show you that the petitioner has a co-sponser if the original petitioner doesnt meet the income requirement?

There are no co-sponsors on the I-134. For a co-sponsor you need the I-864 version of the document.
