I have been looking through threads and probably missed what I need to know. I read on the knightsbridge Dr's website that you need to take your embassy appointment letter with you. What happens if you have'nt recieved interview date?

I'm planning on booking medical as soon as possible after getting packet 3 and I'm worried that I won't have recieved interview date.

MY TIMELINES

06/21/2007 - petition mailed....finally

07/09/2007 - NOA1 (hard copy 07/11/2007)

11/13/2007 - NOA2...127days after filing (hard copy 11/17/07)

12/22/2007 - packet 3 rec. (12/28/2007 returned)

01/11/2008 - medical (allergic to tetanus shot, requirement waived)

02/05/2008 - interview @ 10am - APPROVED!!!!!!

03/12/2008 - Flying Glasgow - Dublin - Chicago - Omaha

05/31/2008 - WEDDING

AOS

07/31/2008 - AOS and EAD finally mailed

08/02/2008 - Delivered

08/08/2008 - Check cleared

08/11/2008 - NOA1's for AOS and EAD recieved (reciept date 08/07/2008)

08/16/2008 - Biometrics letter recieved

09/09/2008 - Biometrics at 1pm, Omaha

09/26/2008 - AOS transferred to CSC

09/29/2008 - AOS touched (took out envelope at CSC and put in new pile)

10/03/2008 - AOS touched (probably that RFE coming soon!!!!)

10/06/2008 - AOS touched AGAIN!!! (surely it's an RFE)

10/15/2008 - EAD CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED!!!!YEY!!!

10/27/2008 - EAD IN HAND

01/12/2009 - AOS touched

01/26/2009 - Email from CRIS. GREENCARD PRODUCTION ORDERED..YIPPPPEEE

Nothing. Just explain that you don't have an interview scheduled and give them your case number. They may quibble over it - they did with me, despite surely dealing with thousands of people in my situation every year - but insist.

I had my medical before the interview date was know. They had no problem with it as long as I had my case number.

thank you for your replies. Places my mind a tad at rest regarding timelines. I'm hoping to have medical early/mid jan and if the embassy is kind to me, my interview mid feb.

I phoned and booked my medical before I had the interview date. Medical was September 11th and I didnt get packet 4 until 7th December.

They werent bothered at all that I didnt have an interview date, just wanted my case number and to know I had packet 3.

All the best with your case. I booked my medical this afternoon. All you need to book is your LND case number. I didn't get asked if I had an interview.

It took 6 weeks from getting my NO2 to packet 3 landing on my doorstep.

Feb 2005 - Met online through brit band doves

Dec 15th 2005 - Met for first time at U2 concert in NE, USA

Apr 30 2008 K1 Interview Approved

Dec 11 2008 AOS approved

Dec 18 2008 Permanent Resident card received

Oct 22 2010 ROC NOA 1 Received

Jan 31 2011 ROC Approved

well NVC confirmed today that my case was sent to london yesterday. Decided to go for it and booked medical. Friday 11th January, 10.30am at Bentick Mansions.
