Laura... when you receive the noa1... that is to let you know that the application has been received and entered into the process order... it doesn't necessarily mean it is open and sitting on someone's desk. When you receive the "touches" (which are actually changed dates on the uscis website), that is supposed to let you know that your application is actually being processed. when you receive the noa2, that means you got your approval and will start another step of the process. I feel that you will get your noa1 this week. *hugs*

i know how frustrating this process can be... i'm praying for ya'll!

edited to add: whenever i received my noa2... i had no touches at all... so, sometimes you get "touched"... and sometimes not...

I know all that, but I'll feel better when I know someone opened the envelope and actually read Luis's e-mail and tell us hey, your case will be started soon. But to know it's there, sitting somewhere unopened, I'm thinking that if time passes and I get no NOA1, it means they totally forgot about it, misplaced the envelope, and my case is lost. And that would be an awful delay!

I am thinking the same if mine is lost or something, but it shouldnt be a big big delay just need to get signed 325a form i and i think you have been through these forms so much i would be able to get everything together in a few hours and just wait 2 days for signed 325 form from colombia.

From Brasil to Puerto Rico the fastest it goes is 1-2 weeks, so for us it´d be a huge delay indeed, as well as paying everything again, taking new pics and getting new copies of stuff.
