Noura - I don't see why that would make a difference. In fact adding that information would probably only add to proof of your relationship. I wrote about 3/4 of an A4 page stating the basic story of how we met first and then how we met in person. We actually met 5 or more years before we actually decided to take anything further. I added detail to the letter but not too much that it became like a romance novel lol. I think you just answer that question as if you were telling a friend about how the two of you met.

Hi folks!

I'd like to chime in here... I'm kinda new to this forum as I usually hang out in the ME/NA forum. I'm Noura and my fiance' is Said from Casablanca, Morocco. I've just returned from my 2nd trip there after having met him here in the states. I'm about to send off our I129F packet also.

Quick question on the supplement for question 18 - "How you met your fiance"

** How detailed did you get on your reply? I'm stating that we met March 2005 (in more detail) and that's when our relationship began. However, he asked if we should mention that we met (very briefly) in Nov. 2004. I mean, so briefly that I barely remember it, but I do remember it . Would it make a difference that we actually met 1 1/2 yrs prior and he had hoped to meet me again... and he did!

What do you think? is it worth adding that detail?

I made the response to Q# 18 pretty short. Started corresponding online in X time frame, met in person on X dates, blah blah blah. One paragraph, straight and to the point.

IMO, I would notate each time you met in person, even if some of the dates fall outside the two-year frame.
