Oh, how I wish this were our first Christmas together. We spend it together last year in Russia, but it was a little different than her actually being here.

There have been 4 Christmases since we've been together and only last year were we apart. We decided not to spend the holidays together in '06 because I was going to travel (and did) to Brazil for my husband's interview in March. But we were together for 2004 and 2005 and now this year.

So this will be our 3rd Christmas together - but our first married and living in our own place.

We did a Christmas together in Brazil, but this will be our first in the U.S. We're going to Minnesota to my parents' house, and Rey's brother is coming!!! It's going to be awesome. Rey's mom said Rey's brother has a suitcase full of stuff to bring my family and he can't fit in any clothes.

I hope he likes Jewish Christmas. We're going to the Chinese restaurant and then to see the Golden Compass. The next day we'll have real Christmas at my aunt's house.

This will be our 4th Christmas spent together.

The first Christmas after we started dating we would have been together, but I decided to take a solo tour of Umbria, Italy over the holidays. Worst Christmas of my life, I think! No one should be alone at Christmas if they can help it. :(

Number 4 for us this year.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

you didn't have a choice for 0 Christmases together so far so I had to put one..

it's 3 Christmases since we met on-line..the first was a month before we met in person... the second was right after the consular interview... and the third we are waiting for the result of the waiver of inadmissibility...I've been to visit him but it's hard to arrange at Christmastime... I have a son and I can't leave him here at Christmas, nor can I afford to bring him there. And it's his birthday the week right after Christmas. It's really hard.

So I'm praying the 4th will be the one!

This will be the first Christmas that I will not be leaving him after the New Year and that makes me so happy. Our anniversary is exactly 1 week before Christmas, and this will be the first time since getting married 4 years ago that we will be together on our special day. I always made it a priority to be with him at Christmas, if no other time :wub:
