you know my fiance told me whats in the letter that says our application has been rejected..it said that they dont have the jurisdiction to process our application BECAUSE OUR APPLICATION IS FOR CALI SERVICE CENTER!

we indicated the california address and i cant believe how it got through the ILLINOIS SERVICE CENTER, ..we found out that it was sent to Illinois cus the mail my fiance received was not from California but from the Chicago Service Center

ggeezz...so this means its the post man's mistake eh??

my question is, so what do we need to do now? do we have to just send everything "as is" to the CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER?

does this really happen?i mean, does anybody had the same experience, mail being sent to the wrong address?

thank you people , youve been really helping us through

The postal service would have delivered it to the address that he put on the envelope. It sounds like he didn't address the envelope correctly. Have him address the envelope correctly, making sure it's sent to the California address, and just send it back in.

the thing is he wrote the correct address which is the california service center address. things really just happen sometimes, but theres a reason for everything, maybe God is just giving us extra time to save money for our wedding tho. atleast were at ease now that we know why its taking too long..

thank you, il keep u guys posted

if the petitioner is from chicago, as far as i understand where to send the I129F, for ur case i think ur fiance should send it to the chicago service center.

Wrong information.

Sorry to hear about the mishap! But you're totally right, God DOES work in mysterious ways... and He has quite a sense of humor considering this amazing thing we call "long-distance relationships"

Quick question, your earlier reply made me wonder... I just wanted to make sure my immigration lawyer sent our packet to the correct service center. I'm in south Florida, and it was sent to Vermont Service Center.

Thanks for any help! And continued luck to everyone.
