This week I got the official www.ccfsettlement.com or Currency Conversion Fee Antitrust Litigation settlement form to recoup the money that I was ripped off by banks: Diners, Visa, and Mastercard. For any transactions I made overseas from 1996 til November 2006. The minimum refund I will get is $25. However I have statements etc. and I could receive up to 3% of the total of all my overseas transactions--still looking for receipts and statements. SAVE your receipts people!!

In accordance with Georgia law, "The Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act," I am required to display the following in any and all languages that I may give immigration related advise:

'I AM NOT AN ATTORNEY LICENSED TO PRACTICE LAW AND MAY NOT GIVE LEGAL ADVICE OR ACCEPT FEES FOR LEGAL ADVICE.'

"NO SOY ABOGADO LICENCIADO PRACTICAR LEY Y NO PUEDO DOY ASESORAMIENTO JURÍDICO O ACEPTO LOS HONORARIOS PARA El ASESORAMIENTO JURÍDICO."

I'll have to go with the blue request since I spent quite a number of days overseas in that decade but receipts? :no: So, I'll just go with what they estimate - should be more than $25.00 on trips totaling upwards of 150 days overseas in that time period. It's extra money either way. Not like I anticipated ever getting any of these fees back.
