form or letter to request pickup of visa at USEM

Hello, I was wondering how we would go by requesting to pick up our visa at the embassy instead of having it delivered by Delbros. If anyone has done this, please let me know in what form or is it a letter I type up to present to the the consular officer at the time of the interview. Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

just a simple letter from tthe USC. be sure to have a valid reason in the letter why you want to pick up your visa. good luck on your interview

Do you have any suggestions on what would be considered valid reasons to pick up the visa? Thanks.

I don't think their should be a reason for a request to pick up the VISA.. All you gotta do it ask nicely..

Some will let you and some will not.. It all depends on the Consul..

We will ask to pick up her Visa at USEM in the most polite and respectful way. It would be great to pick it up at the Embassy instead of waiting and worrying about delivery.

Also you can do so many things after you pick up your Visa.. (If your visa is release early)

Like CFO Stamping, Flight Booking, Shopping @ Mall Of Asia or Glorrieta, etc..

Instead of waiting the whole day in the house waiting for DELBROS to come..

I told the CO that during the delivery of packet 4..the delivery man had a hrad time finding our home.

Since we already purchased our ticket (before our interview sched), the CO was very nice to grant my request. '
