I'd send flowers and a whooole lot of them.

Send flowers to a man?

A girl I work with did that and her boyfriend was mad cos he was mortified in fron of his colleagues. I told that story to my fiance and he said that I should never send him flowers. That guys just don't want that sort of thing.

I know, I know, its the thought that counts, but...I'd send something a bit more manly.

I once asked Govi how he would feel if I sent him flowers sometime as a surprise and he said he would love it - I would send them to his house though. There is a company online that delivers all kinds of gifts to Nepal - flowers, candy, booze, electronics, toys, anything - and it doesn't really cost that much extra since the suppliers are all local-no overseas shipping costs. I think for our half anniversary I will send him some flowers and a cake that his family can also enjoy.

There's a lot of stuff that me and my fiance do to stay connected while we are far apart.

Sometimes we watch movies together online - we'll have our webcams open and both start the movie at the same time...we get to talk about the movie over chat and laugh together at the funny parts.

I think you have to download some viewing software to watch (DivX or something) but it's pretty simple. Here's a website where you can watch streaming movies for free (some are bad quality, but some are pretty decent): http://www.watch-movies.net

You could also have a romantic dinner together over webcam. Both cook the same thing, have some wine and some candles, put on the same music and chat over webcam as if you were sitting at the table together.

I know it doesn't replace actually being in eachother's physical presence, but it's better than nothing!

Hope I helped :)

Wow what a great idea!!!!!
