wine goes very well with pain meds.....it may even put you in the mood.....with pain killers and alcohol you'll be a wild, rampaging beast in bed.

It's not good guys......

I was right I need a big molar removed that is abcessing, lucky I went today as the dentist said I have a 'huge' infection under it. My face is swelling, my whole head hurts, no toothache just all this pain from my jaw shooting around my head. She wanted to pull the tooth next Thursday, but I have our AOS interview, too risky to do it Wednesday and she's shut Friday. So it will be pulled 8am the following Monday.

That's not the big problem though....as you know I suffer badly with Gastro-intestinal Candida and have been having an attack this week. Well the antibiotics I now have to take are the worst possible thing you can do with Candida, it just lets it flourish. So I then had to return to the hospital to get a further dose of my meds (Ijust finished them today) to take immed' I finish the antibiotics in 10 days!

So even when the pain from my head subsides , my stomach is gonna give me hell the next week and we have to go a 6 hour round trip to OKC for our interview - and then I still have to have a big tooth pulled the week after.

I can't even spoil myself as due to my Candida I can't have anything with sugar or yeast in...so no chocolate and no wine to help me feel better.

i'm sorry... i was joking around and did not take into consideration that it would be anything else other than what they could immediately fix today... i will be saying some extra prayers for you... for your tummy... and for the abcessed tooth... and hopefully you will feel lots better in no time...

are there no other meds that they could give you for the infection?

i don't know much about the Gastro-intestinal Candida... is it anything like CROHN'S disease?

Thanks Lynne, no it has to be antibiotics with a tooth infection. The painkillers are starting to kick in now a bit, I just don't wanna look like a pumpkin

Hubby is being so sweet, bless him, as this is the 2nd big tooth I'll have had pulled in 3 months!

sukie... not sure what the dentist would say... but my baby sister used to get toothaches a LOT when we were kids... she would alternate the compresses... and also have my baby sister wash her mouth out with salty water... not sure what that does...

I resemble that remark.......Lu gets here tomorrow! I'm trying to convince her family to leave at like 4am rather than start at 9:00 tonight. It is probably a 12-14 hour drive.
