Ladies, what do you use for period cramps...

3 ibuprofin at the first sign ( I don't get them severly, just moderately at times...but my sister gets them very badly and the only thing that helps her is liquid gel caps of advil)

I don't usually use a heating pad but sometimes I have in the past if they got really bad...
