Got off the phone with mi amor last night and she said that her sister's boyfriend said that there are a bunch of rednecks living in Wisconsin. I couldn't believe he was trash talking my state! Then it got me thinking......I wonder what people think when they hear Wisconsin? Hahahaha....there are plenty of small towns but it's not like we all live on farms. I live pretty close to Chicago actually.

Her sister's boyfriend and the rest of the family is coming here next week......they claim that it is not possible to get lost in my town because they live outside of D.C.! I hope they bring Onstar or something hahahaha. They must seriously think we have like 2 stop signs here or something like that.

I was surprised......I never would have said something like that about Virginia. You can think all you want but to say it to Lu I thought was wrong. The ironic thing is that I have been to their city and it is very similiar to mine. I live in an average size city that close to a major metropolitan area, just like they do.

I can honestly say I think of nothing when I hear Wisconsin, I guess I have not been here long enough to know anything about it!

What I do know so far is Kansas and Arkansas have a few too close family marriages and tend to be a bit in the backwoods Texas thinks its bigger and better than any other southern state! New Yorkers are supposedly rude about the mid-west. And people think there's nothing in Oklahoma to do except watch tornado's and listen to the musical!

In the south in Newport News, I have been there I believe it is 11 times over the last 7 ears and visited North Carolina few times as well. It is very nice for sure, as I am sure your state is. And hey I do love cheese so I might even make it there sometime.

I'd like to visit NC sometime.....it's on my list. You're more than welcome to visit WI anytime you'd like. In a couple of weeks we have the largest music festival in the world going on in Milwaukee.

I don't take that stuff to heart very much. Actually, I thought it was kind of funny. I haven't heard us referred to as rednecks before. I did, however, think it was rude of him to say that to Lucia and about the people in her new home considering he has never been here before.
