These flowers have become my children.....I go home for lunch everyday and check up on them.

Frances - thanks girl! Dean is an expert in fencing.

brother miror.......trim could look nice, but I'm not sure the brown would work with the red......it would definately look good against the yellow and the beige though. The two rooms are connected with no wall separating them. The red is in the living room and the yellow is in the dining room. The two are directly across from each other. The beige really brings it all together and looks good with my furniture as well.

hmmm.. then maybe later.. shorten the carpet to just the living room, and place wood flooring for dining room, or stone tile. I was actually thinking a light brown trim along the beige walls... but then thinking about it.. that would just draw the eye to the end walls without it... ah well... was a thought.

good job either way  Lu will definately be loving it when she gets back with family

I actually don't know what that is hahahaha........I only bought my flowers based on the pictures and if they could handle partial shade.

I do know that I have 3 rose bushes and 7 Lilacs (or are they lilly's???)....oh yeah and a Japanese fern that will be a slivery blue.

Beyond that I have no clue.

I thought about shortening it, but the problem is there is not really a clear break where it would work. When I moved in I replaced all of the carpeting but I didn't have the furniture yet so I wasn't sure about placement. Right now it would be tough because part of the floor would be carpet and part laminate around the patio door but it wouldn't be right down the middle. I'm all about symetry.

So.....I kept it all carpet and put down laminate in the foyer and kitchen.

These flowers have become my children.....I go home for lunch everyday and check up on them.

Hahahaha.....it's true.

Thanks everyone for the nice compliments. I've worked really hard on this stuff so far.

small yard though.

Very nice.....but did you plant it all yourself? I think not.......I totally rule.

:D
