Ok, lemme explain, so that puts things into perspective. Dave obviously loves going to the pubquiz & I obviously hate it. Now when we lived together...not a visit, but actually lived together...it was fine...he did his thing, whatever. He loves going to this stupid quiz. Perhaps it's got to do with the fact that he & his friends have all this useless info in their heads & they win the damn thing every week. Anyways!

He never missed this quiz. Perhaps for summat like an anni, he would, but otherwise, NO WAY. And I would go with him...we did a lot of things together...moreso than any 'normal' couple. Ok, so one Tuesday, I jsut didn't wanna go...I was layin on the couch watchin telly & I told him to go without me. This was as the time was drawing closer to me leaving, I started resenting this quiz...like we could be doing so many other things instead of wasting a night him at the quiz, me on the couch. He left that night resenting the same thing....like I couldn't get off my ### to come with him, when our time started running out (we only had like 7 mos left at this point I think, hahahah)

He came home pissed off at me....He came home to me pissed off at him. We decided to compromise. He shouldn't be made to give up soemthing that he enjoys doing....and I shouldn't have to give up every Tuesday doing something I didn't want to do...so we started alternating Tuesdays...one week we'd go, the other we wouldn't...and we both were happy with that.

...mind you, his team wasn't...and the funny thing is, they started losing when he wasn't there....hahahah

In all seriousness... I've been thinking about this for a while, and it definitely comes down to this. The line is drawn, and it lies between the ultra conservative religious right, and the not so religious. For those of you that have had it drilled into you that sex and masturbation is bad, that looking at the opposite sex and fantasizing about them is a sin... it's all brainwashing, and that makes everything worse than what it actual is. For Pete’s sake... looking at another man or woman, naked or not, on the Internet or in person, and having sexual thoughts... DOES NOT CONSTITUE INFIDELITY!!! If you want to break up a relationship... do it over something substantial... not something like looking at other people’s bodies!

I don't think any religion teaches that sex is bad.... if that were the case and we were all brainwashed to believe that then the human race would have died out long ago. What most religions teach is that sex is good but PRIVATE between a husband and wife.
