NO your not overreacting! You were given the knowledge of right and wrong when you accepted Christ in your heart many years ago from what I read in one of your comments. "I don't know I am a christian, so i believe in the whole if you even look at a women with lust you have also commited adultery with her. Just how I grew up and I can't change that. I don't know ..." My husband and I are both Christian, first and foremost! I would feel devastated if my Husband was purposely scrolling through images of other women in fully clothed or not, especially when he KNOWS it is wrong in the eyes of the Lord! In this secular world we live in today it is everywhere! :protest: You don't have to go far to see a half naked woman. My husband guards himself for me in this area. He knows it is a foothold satan uses against God's most precious creation "a marriage".

We do have a clear command from God's Son Himself, concerning sexually lusting after a person who is not your spouse...

"You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.' But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Matthew 5:28.

Contrary to our present culture which encourages looking at other people and "getting turned on," Jesus viewed this sin as being very serious. He urged people to radically deal with lust, and says that it is something that can keep us from eternal life (Matthew 5:29-30).

The question is why is he feeling the need to look at other women in the first place? Is your Husband Christian too? We fear our marriage as we fear the Lord, this is an important issue for a married couple in todays "loose" society. Guard your hearts! Especially when you as a Christian have stepped out in faith and married your love. Satan is so ticked off when we come together in the sight of the Lord, that he waits like a caged lion to devour us! :diablo:

Sadly, we can't change our hubby's. He needs to want to change, and not just to "shut you up". It is between him and the Lord. :idea: But I tell you, no matter if you are Christian or not, this temptation is as old as time and effects mankind in general.

One of my favorite instructions God gave man was...

"Rejoice in the wife of your youth! A loving doe, a graceful deer--may her breasts satisfy you at all times, my you ever be captivated by her love."

Proverbs 5:18-19

Spouses rarely have equal sexual desires and not all spouses are sensitive to the sexual desires of the other partner. This is why Paul said...

"The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife’s body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husband’s body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife. Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control" (1 Corinthians 7:3-6).

Fight for what is right! :thumbs: I hope you both conquer this so called "exceptable sin" so many justify as "harmless". Well the harm is done, I bet you have more trust issues now that your married, than when you were single? I know the feeling, and I'll pray for you, and remember to forgive him. For we have been forgiven by the Blood of the Lamb as well. With the help of the Lord, you can get through this ;)
