Got the marriage license today.....the lady actually asked Lucia if Peru was a country. I was embarassed.

Drivin down the road the other day, I have the Ecuadorian flag hangin from my mirror.. had a guy with a PR flag hangin in his asked where Ecuador was :huh:

oh.. yeah, I'd be embarassed for her too.

It got better.

When asked what city she was from, Lucia said Arequipa. The lady immediately asked if that was her State.

anyway, Merc.. have you checked into ESL classes yet? or a CNA class? I know here in Denver, there is a class that will help Sara with her medical terminology pronunciation/classes for NCLEX. true, she is MD in EC, not Nurse, but hey.. these are Gratis, so we'll check into them more.

Not yet, but soon! Lucia will be heading out to Virginia very soon to be with her family. That will give me some down time where I plan to get more info on that stuff - which was a great suggestion by the way and Lucia really liked the idea. Lu will get serious about the studying after the wedding on July 1st.

ok so I have a bunch of images that i want to share but ...... we dont have an image resizer here and they are way too huge to post on vj and because our connection is so slow and unreliable the image resizing tool from download.com doesnt want to finish can anyone re-size jpgs ?? purdy please :crying:

Sara doin great. Is back EC preparing all the final details for the Church wedding.

oh, before I forget.. kaptest.com, and also Workplace Language program (its here in CO, but maybe they have more info for you?? 720-851-8270)

other than that.. its just studying for the USMLE and ECFMG, which takes time
