some people are kind of being disrespectful of the topic on here or am I the only one. The bikini pics...

So you saw the bikini pic I posted. Good. Now tell me, if your husband was looking at that would you have minded so much?

No, of course not. And why not? Because the woman in that picture is not attractive.

So what exactly is the real issue here? A woman in a partial state of undress or a beautiful woman in a partial state of undress?

i think the point is looking for women in bikinis to look at, not just happening upon one. And you already know that, why are you getting so technical? Obviously anyone who goes to the beach sees that. The point and real issue is, him hiding the fact that he was looking at them on purpose and that it bothered her.

there is no point to having those 2 pics agent...what bothers her is not relevant to whether they were beautiful or not(anyway as if men would seek out ugly women to look at if they were looking). The point is hiding it after it had been discussed and then him not seeming remorseful.

well when it's something they already had discussed, which he knew she didn't like, and he must have said he wouldn't do it anymore(according to what cangal said)...no matter if it's something small or big you think you'd want to say "oops, sorry" after being caught. That's what I mean.

I think that what bothered her was the fact he was looking for something to look at.... and not that he was looking at the pictures. So I believe that if that is what really bothered her, it doesn't matter which kind of pic he came across....

I still think she should talk to him. They need to compromise to make it work.... she's not happy with the situation right now so they have to do something about it. And making him completely stop doing that will just make him resent her and/or lie to her.

He shouldn't be lying to her to begin with... if he doesn't believe it's wrong then there's no reason to lie.

WoW 19 pages thus far, on a topic that is very diverse. Should the SO be looking at pornography? Should the SO be looking at pornography behind his wife's back? Only the people involved can answer both these questions. They have to talk about it because that is what a marriage is all about..COMMUNICATION..

The OP say's she has talked about this subject with her SO but he is apparently ignoring her repeated requests to stop looking at these pictures. It is a tough situation, I spoke with Jon, my SO about this particular subject and we both personally agreed that as long as we were both ok with it then it would not be a problem with us but that is just our personal opinion, and like everyone on this site it is just a personal opinion. I must say though that I personally agree with Monique on this matter she has hit the nail on the head.

If a person is not happy with a situation then do something about it, we all have choices in life, it is what you do with those choices that affects your life.

WHY does the husband have to give up looking at pics on the internet? Seriously? When did marriage become all about giving up things that you enjoy doing? I know that sounds ridiculous...but at the end of the day, we're all individuals & the most successful marriages are with two individuals who recognize themselves as such. Sure there's compromise to be had, but 'stop looking it bothers me' does not sound like a compromise.

Of course people can go overboard, but I'd hardly jump to 'herion addiction' from looking at a few pics of women with clothes on!

Why does it bother you? Does it make you feel inferior? If that's the case...well no offence but that sounds like a self-esteem issue & the problem is not the women. Is it the whole 'women are exploited' thing...cos last time I checked, porn actresses have really dominated the industry & have made themselves into very successful & happy businesswomen. Whatever your issue is, I don't think the answer lies with your husband, but within yourself.

Perhaps your husband is not compromising because he feels you're just dictating rules to him? I do think you should speak with your husband & strike some sort of compromise that you BOTH are happy with
