That's not an excuse....it's the truth! I do my laundry and pack it right away the night before. Fresh out of the dryer and it smells great! I always but a couple of those dryer sheets in there with the clothes too. Lu always says I smell nice so it must work.

I take too much as well......mostly weather related though for where I go. Gotta have cold and hot clothes unfortunately.

This time I'm travelling with just a small carry on for myself and two large, empty suitcases for Lucia.

8 days......it's been going by quickly with all of the house remodeling and wedding planning I have been doing.

I forgot about the dryer sheet trick!!! I used to do it, but forgot about doing it my last marriage when my ex would pack the bags. Now that I'm the packer again, I will remember that! Thanks for reminding me!

I'm glad the days are going by quickly for you... they seem to be just DRAGGING for me!!! Guess that's why I have been spending so much time on here, but then I get bored with this quickly as well. :( I'm just ready to go... all the paperwork checke, double-checked, tickets in hand... Hell, I even have an I-94 filled out. All except the date of the visa! :D

Hahaha.....I remember going to Peru for the interview. I've never checked the detail on documents so well in my entire life. I had soooo much stress too. I know it is nerve wracking, but do your best. For my interview, the plane got in really late at night (about 2 am) and by the time we got back to the hotel, got everything organized....and um...well...some other activities, it was time to go the interview. I hadn't slept in 36 hours or something like that.

One of the things that helped me out was just kind of getting lost in some music. Anything to prevent the insanity! The actual interview and everything ends up being very easy if you are prepared, and it sounds like you definately are.

Good luck brother...in spanish

buena suerte!

:o I'm shocked that you participated in "other activities" before the interveiw!!!;) I'll be a little better off than you as far as time before the interview, except this will be a two day trip. Satuday afternoon I'll fly to Honolulu. Sunday morning, the flight leaves at 0720, so I will have to get up at O'dark thirty! :( Then an 11 hour flight to Taipae, very quick layover, and on to Bangkok. I'll get into Bangkok at 1600 on Mon the 15th. Interview is Tue morning, 0730. I am so paranoid now that something will happen with my flight, which is usually NEVER the case! I would have liked to have a one day cusion, but I am trying to save on hotel costs and time away from work.

Muchas gracias mi amigo!

Holy #######.....I don't envy that flight at all hahaha. I'll try not to complain anymore about mine. I hear ya on being worried about the flight stuff for sure!. For me...I had to go from Chicago to Atlanta to Lima. There are a whole lot of places where the flight can get messed up. Well....as it turns out....I get to Atlanta and am informed they overbooked the flight by 20 passengers! I informed them of my situation and they gave me a seat in Row 3.....that's right - first class baby! Oh, I enjoyed that. Free wine....yes!

C'mon brother miror....I was too drunk from all of the free wine to remember what they served for dinner.....but I think they did have cheese or something like that. Behold the power of cheese.

I also drank some mamossas (spelling?). The footrest and reclining was particularily nice I must add.

On long overseas flights, business of first class is the only way to go. I doubt it will happen on these flights, since I haven't flown China Airlines for so long, but when I was flying JAL all the time, they kept putting me in business class, without me saying anything! Though the service is the same, which is very good on JAL, just the seat makes ALL the difference in the worl!

Looks like it's back to "cattle car" service! :(
