badrs love: what do you do for business!? thats great you get to travel to england. its a great time of year to be there!

I work for a company that builds data storage systems that's based out of Southern England. I'm on a software implementation team to implement and teach SAP for all the US sites of our company. The UK and the US are being implemented at the same time, so that's why I'm over here. I get to come here at least once a year. It's cold here but not as cold as I was expecting.

Thanks! I'm loving it here. Too bad I can't take an extended holiday to Morocco. It's just a short flight. But I'm not allowed to take a holiday until the project has been live for 2 months.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOh and if anyone is thinking of getting FIOS do it!!! I LOVE it! I got verizon fios tv, phone and internet and I am one happy camper. It came with the dvr option too and I have NO IDEA how I ever lived without it!!!!! Now I can watch all the CSI's, Criminal Minds, House and Cold Case whenever I want too!!!!! I just hope that writer's strike ends SOON!!

I'm starting the Hero's series using Netflix since I never watched it last season. I hope it's as good as everyone says!

have you been watching the second season? if you have and you like it, you're going to LOVE the first season... in my opinion, the it was better than the second, although i haven't watched the finale of the second season yet... got that waiting on my DVR aka the best thing that ever happened to me ;)

I haven't watched anything. I have just heard people talking about it so I thought I'd start fresh this weekend. I'm really looking forward to it!

I'm jealous. I wish I was a Heroes virgin again. :crying:

I'm sure it's not for everyone. I didn't watch the first season because I'm not into comic books and superheroes and fantasy stuff, generally. But I had some time over the summer and caught up online and got hooked!

Yay! You're back!

I ate a whole poundcake the first day i had my stairstepper. It is possible. And yes, I was stepping and eating. it was a bad day.

This weekend.. hmm. Working on my thesis and working on Ammar's applications to varying places.

 every time I see that word, I get excessively angry  it is the yahoo id of the first person my ex husband cheated on me with (well, not literally cheating in the flesh ... but cyber space with full intentions of being bad). She lived in SC and when he left me, he msgd her and told her that he would be single soon. She told him that she didn't want him and was just out to see if she could wreck a marriage.....

Well I am so glad that it is Friday and look forward to the weekend so that I can move in my new couch and loveseat. Looking forward to the change.

Won't it be a bit cramped to move into ur new couch and loveseat? I would recommend moving the couch and loveseat into ur home instead  Sorry, just had to comment...i read it wrong the first time and thought..WHAT IN THE WORLD IS........ and then realized what it really said...i think amal needs a break...

sara, let me know when ur little girl tells u she wants to spend time with "auntie amal"...i'm ready!

Hope everyone has a great weekend.
