hello to all.

my fiance called USEM this morning to check if they have received our case and if we have the schedule for the medical and interview. unfortunately, it was the e-copy that they have. the packet didnt reach the USEM yet. the lady from USEM advised my fiance to pay the 650 for verification fee to any metrobank branch asap. according to her, as soon as they get the payment they will put us in line for the interview instead of waiting until the packet is received. that will speed up the process. so i did what the lady said. i just paid the 650. i texted delbros and i got the reply from them few seconds after i sent the msg. this is their reply: Delbros has successfully received the information you sent! We will send you a text confirmation after we verify your payment. Thank you. Delbros delivers!

Glad to hear the new system worked well for you. Now that things are rolling at the embassy, you can check to see if appointment has been given at this site, just scroll about half way down the page to the link in blue. When the box pops up just enter the MNL letters and numbers.

by the way, yesterday i got another text msg from delbros confirming the payment i made. here is the 2nd text from Delbros: This is to acknowledge the deposit you made. We confirm your payment to the document verification as required by the US Embassy. Thank you. Delbros delivers!

i am confused with this new thing. yep i understand it is for verification with NSO that we have to pay for extra Php650 at Metrobank. Forgive me with the confusion guys, but for whom exactly will this be?

I was under November batch but was re-scheduled due to medical reasons. SLEC will be the one to give me new Interview Date, if i pass or not, maybe first week of January. Anyways, whatever the result maybe, whether i'll be delayed again or have my interview this coming january, I still would not want to wait for another 2 weeks for this new thing. Im hoping for the best.

For sure i would not be able to reach USEM due to the long holidays we have here in Pinas, but will try still.

Any input on this will be appreciated.

If it went through, you should have received a message right away that they had to check deposit, then another when they confirm the depsoit. It is not even our call to say that.. It is the consul.. If the Consul say I will put you on AR.. What are we gonna do? We can't say "Oh you can't do that! We have paid the Verification fee of 650 PHP."

It eliminates a reason for AR and for that small amount of money compared to what the immigration process is costing, I'm all for anything that can make the process more certain. Look at it in a positive way, everything seems brighter that way.
