So we don't pay DELBROS no more at the USEM? After the Interview, we just go home or find the nearest Metro Bank to make the Deposit for the DELBROS fee?

One more thing.. They seemed to have raised the price.. Or you have to add more for Province Delivery?

How does it work for Visa Pickup?

This is for something different, it does not eliminate the need to pay for the Delbros delivery of visa after visa approval. This fee is for the checking of NSO records to make sure the records are not counterfeit and I would think (and plan too) they should be paid at metro bank at least 2 weeks in advance of the interview....we will do it 3 weeks in advance.

Listen to this nice piece of noose I got from doing my weekley call to the USE.. They now need a P 650 fee paid at the metro bank ASAP After paing that fee they need me to send a text to Delbro International showing I made the deposit.

This is the info she gave me:

Go to any Metro Bank and deposit php 650

Account # 7-151-51420-7

Account name : Delbros International Logistics INC

Get two deposit slipps one for the bank and one to keep

after that is done you will need to send a text message in all capital letters to:

TN # 0917-5555-313

USE-MNL case number - first, last, middle name-(branch name)-(dat of deposit)-(time of deposit)-PHP650

Example of date 7 dec 07 day month year

She said people that already have interview dates don't need to do this and she was told to start giving this info out yesterday.

Thanks to Cadman76 for pointing this out to me, its not an extra fee but a required process which Delbros does, they verify that your beneficiary in the Philippines has a valid birth certificate and is sent to NSO for verification. Its actually stated on the USEM website http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3219.html the 6th bullet from the bottom of the page and has a link to http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwfdelb.pdf describing what Tim posted.

to my understanding, this fee if for verification of some documents only just in case it needed:

Applicants whose visa eligibility is dependent upon their marital status (i.e. K-1, K-3, CR-1, IR-1, F-1 and F2-B categories) will normally need to have their documents verified through the National Statistics Office (NSO) before the U.S. Embassy in Manila can issue the visa. Those with a delayed birth or death certificate or only local civil registrar copies of such documents may need to have their documents verified.

In order to avoid unnecessary delay in the visa issuance process, the U.S. Embassy in Manila strongly encourages applicants in the categories mentioned above to pay the document verification fee prior to their immigrant visa interview. Payment can be made through any Metrobank location. The cost of the document verification is P650 per applicant. For specific instructions on how to pay the document verification fee, please click here. If you are unable to pay for the document verification before your immigrant visa interview, you may be asked to pay the fee on the day of your interview. Please note that if you pay on the day of your interview, there will be a delay of one to two weeks in the processing of your application

do i take it that in view of this document verification fee that we have to pay prior to the interview date, we no longer need to bring the original NSO documents we purposely secured for the interview?

and also, will this affect the time for them to issue the visa since they have to verify such documents?

I am guessing they do. I think I read somewhere children are less but I'm not sure. I would recomend calling the embassy and asking. also too if you need to do it all in one deposit. They will be able to tell you the total..

Good luck

It looks to me as if the fee is 650 PHP per person.

Well I don't feel so bad now. It is showing that was updated on 12/04/2007

Well the instructions I got over the phone worked too

Did you or your beneficiary pay yet at Metrobank? I plan to this Monday or Tuesday.. its payday for my fiance on Monday.. and I hope she can get this done since we have a problem too as her Mothers name on the birth certificate isnt complete... My fiance's mother has the name correct on her birth certificate but not on my fiance's birth certificate... My fiance says it could take up to 2 months to fix this problem as it has to be fixed at the local registar before NSO can change it... I dont know what the local registar is.. anyone got a clue?

The local registrar would be like the county clerk here. You would need the local registrar where the birth was originally resgistered.

We have the same problem like yours.. But ours was Typo on our Marriage Contract.. They typed my Nationality as Filipino which is I am a USC.

Well to get it fix we went to court and hearing to prove my Citizenship. It cost me 40K pesos through the whole process..

But now everything is almost complete.. Local Registry already have the Edited one and NSO is currently processing the new edited one.
