http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwfdelb.pdf

sorry for my ignorance? is it possible for you to pay delbros fees for verification ( ahead ) without the case being completed in NVC although, I sent in already the needed docs for ds-230 and packet 3 requirements and i-864? **wink**

I was instructed by the clerk on Window 37 that its the Consul's call to ask for the Docs Verification.

Not all applicants get hit with this policy..

In my opinion.. Its better to play safe then be sorry..

But even from paying for it Its still dissapoint me..

Thought I would bring this idea up. I have heard through others that the fee is 1000 PHP for K3 apps. Just thought I would say something.

well this is what i've learned from alvie at delbros

you pay fee, send the text

they receive payment, send the "verification form" to USEM which is for the CO to use to verify your docs.

form then goes back to delbros

the next day, delbros takes all the "verification forms" to NSO with what exactly needs to be verified

response from NSO goes to delbros who then turns it back over to USEM

so, it appears that delbros adds 2 additional days to visa approval process (not to mention NSO delay) if the CO needs/decides to verify your docs

all in all they are patient but difficult people to get answers from, however they are able to confirm the receipt of your payment and that they have given then USEM a "verification form" with your name/case number on it.

I agree with you dasmith about Delbros' staff efficiency in handling phone inquiries. If only their website is working well, they won't be swamped with calls everyday.

I talked to NSO Asst. Administrator Ms. Elsa Casasola next business day after my interview. She said USEM sends request for verification in batches. They have assigned people in their agency to work on the embassy requests. She could not tell how long it will take to finish a batch. She seemed happy to hear that I am one of those lucky approved fiancee petition recipients. The conversation was in a light mood, so I took the liberty of telling her the comments of the applicants. Aren't we offended that documents issued by Philippine government agency is subject to verification? Is it possible to improve or authenticate the document they issue to us prior to our interview. I paid 400 and 300 for CENOMAR and BC. Then pay again 650 to have it verified, not to mention the weeks of agony waiting for the visa release. Ma'am something must be done to erase all these doubts. And they call it "NSO Security Paper".

My own thoughts but didn't mention to her, pera nga napepeke, NSO papers pa.

P.S. It seems the Feb 8 interview batch was the biggest crowd they have seen in months. That's according to the guard, who wished me luck on my way out.
