If you don't have anything by December 22nd, I would call the 800 number to check the status. I wouldn't worry too much just yet though. It took us three weeks to get our NOA1 from CSC after we filed.

I sent my I-751 on November 17 to CSC and USPS confirmed delivery on November 19.

To date my check has still not been cashed and like you, my Green Card runs out on Feb 14 2007.

I am not panicing right now but will give it to the end of December.

Good Luck.

thanks guys. I guess I'm just used to the USCIS cashing all my cheques the minute they receive them! I will give them a couple more weeks before I call.

After my previous message, I returned home to find my NOA1 in the mail and that my checked had been cashed on the same day. Your's can't be far away.

Well I received an RFE yesterday. I messed up and used an older form (Rev. 08/01/06) which was the example form on this site. I did compare it to the form on USCIS.GOV but I looked at the OMB No. and the expiry date on the top of the form which were the same so I thought it was the same form. DOH! oh well I guess I still have time. Application will go out again tomorrow and then I can play the waiting game again.

Did you report it to the staff? They should update the forms

Did they return the entire packet or just give you an RFE on the form?

I suppose the moral of the story is always always always use the forms posted on the USCIS site. Forms posted to VJ (and any other site for that matter) are not guaranteed to be up to date.
