I pretend that I watch TV because I teach Mass Media Communications. But in reality, I enjoy mindless entertainment. Ain't gonna lie.

Love:

Heroes

Desperate Housewives

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (no really, and I cry EVERY TIME)

Iron Chef

the Food Network show with Alton Brown...can't remember what it's called

Discovery Channel (random things...nothing in particular)

Antiques Roadshow (I'm always convinced that in my attic is a treasure trove and I will see something similar on AR) (technically possible, but would be my sister's attic)

Biggest Loser (used to hate it, but now I'm emotionally invested in the contestants)

I make my students do a media log each year and I do one too. I'm always surprised that I don't spend more time watching tv because it seems like it takes up most of my time. It's really only 2 nights a week, though.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

:waits for someone to be obnoxious and say they don't watch/own a TV:

:continues watching 30 Rock:

I own a TV, but don't watch it much. We watch baseball and football in season and he watches NASCAR. We watch the news during the week at 5 pm, but that's it.
