Interview date soon?

I finally phoned the extortion line re my application.

After sending off Packet 3, including the check list, on July 25th 2007, I heard nothing back. I did ask for an interview mid December onwards due to medical treatment I'm going through, so was expecting some delay.

I heard nothing back by mid October so I phoned the London Embassy, they had all my forms apart from my checklist. #######? I sent the checklist with everything else in July. Apparantly they hadn't received my checklist. I knew I had sent this off in July but sent a copy, ok maybe they lost it, it happens.

I sent off a copy of the checklist on Oct 15th by registered mail, it was received and stamped by the embassy on Oct 19th.

My DF has been phoning the DOS every other day, still no interview date though they said everything seems to be there, sometimes I was stuck in a name check, others they said try again. When I phoned the Embassy on tuesday 4th December they said my checklist hasnt been entered in the system, it should of been entered within 30 days of returning it. They also mentioned that my son was down for entering the USA with me. My son is 18 and in an apprenticeship, he does not want to emmigrate, I told them that too.

They gave me a code to put in the subject field to email the embassy. I emailed the embassy on tuesday evening using the code I was given and got an automated reply saying they will reply in 3-4 days. Now its just wait and see what they say. I hope I get an interview date soon, I want to move over and marry my fiance in March 2008.

We filed in february, this has been going on too long now.
