Only $100 for the gizmo and a $50 fine. He made out if he got through a few red lights, good thing no accidents were caused then he'd been in deep doo-doo.

I try to telepathically change the red lights to Green.... LOL

Seriously, this is no lie....ANYTIME I'm late & driving somewhere...I'm putting on my makeup at the red lights. WHENEVER I have one eye done with liquid liner....and the tube is in my hand waiting for another light....I NEVER hit another red light until I get to my destination. Seriously...I have tried this with carpooling friends who have verified I'm not crazy

And no, if I don't need the liquid liner...it doesn't carry the same mojo if I just whip it out & hold it

The "guy" that got the fine was actually using a device that changes Traffic Signals to "Green" via radio link to facilitate emergency vehicles such as Fire Trucks, Ambulances and Police Vehicles...

It may be a "cool device" but in reality the possession of such a device endangers everyone.

IMO, the "guy" should have gotten a $500 fine for using such a device.

BTW, in Illinois there's a telltale white light atop every Traffic Control Support pole/support that indicates when the emergency bypass of the Traffic Signal's been activated.

No kidding! One of my co-workers got a $327 ticket for going through a red light because one of those automatic cameras caught him. This thing pays for itself over and over again.
