How long is the interview wait in Vancouver?

wow thats quick. Can I the beneficiary contract the Dept of state or does it have to be the USC? What exactly did you ask them? Good luck in Vancouver btw :)

We have been waiting for packet 4 from Vancouver since last week. So when I read this thread about calling the NVC, I immediately dialed them. It worked!! Our interview is scheduled for December 19th :dance::dance::dance:

I (the petitioner) called the NVC at 202-663-1225, option 4 (I think - it's the one about the fiance visa) and then you press 0, it doesn't tell you, but that's the option to speak to an operator. The wait was only a minute and after giving her our NVC Case number, my fiance's name and DOB, I just explained to her that we had faxed the checklist back last week and could she tell me the status of our case? She gave me the interview date immediately, no run-around at all. It has been a good day :thumbs::thumbs:

Yes - DOS is very friendly and helpful.

I'm glad you get your interview on a Wednesday, mine is on Thursday so we're spending a total of 5 days including travel. But that's okay - we'll manage.
