hi to all,

Me and the wifey will go for her AOS interview. Im really anxious about it and am gathering up all the documents on the checklist. Do they really ask for the paperwork? i mean all of it?

Any info on what type of questions they ask? are they really hard questions?

Can anyone here give us any pointers or any stories you can share?

Thanks

Both my AOS interview and my daughter's AOS interview were much simpler than we were anticipating.

I got asked for the original of my husband's US birth certificate, and that was about it.

We were in and out in 15 minutes.

Good luck tomorrow.

i had my AOS interview yesterday at SF.

the officer asked for both of our goverment IDs, i showed my passport and my travel permit, and took the travel permit. he said i wouldn't need it anymore.

the officer was very very nice, he asked if he could keep all of my joint utilities that i brought in (Bank, gas, electric, cellphone, home)

he didn't ask to see any other documents that's on the checklist, but i showed him my husband's most current paystubs. he also asked for photos and he looked thru my photo album carefully making nice comments and asking questions while looking at the photos (is this a party? this must be your parents etc)

regarding the questions he asked during the interview, he basically asked similar Q's that i found on this forum -- the example questions. read thru them and you'll probably get a feel :) good luck!

i showed up 15 min late coz of traffic but everything was fine. and the whole interview process was about 20 min. no more than 30 min

I had all the documents they listed on the invitation letter with me, but they only asked for some. Still, to be on the safe side you should bring them. It will also calm you down during the waiting time and the actual interview. Good luck to you and here you can select your local office and read other peoples experience with their interview: http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/
