Anyone know where I can buy Christmas Crackers from in USA ( apart from having to trek to Canada ) - has anyone seen these in USA?

Wanted to share the custom with my new american relatives!

We just saw some really nice, super deluxe ones at Costco here in Washington state.

I was just telling my husband today that I would like to get some for our Xmas celebration this weekend with my kids from Canada.

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Pier 1 has them, as does Kroger's Supermarket (for those who live in IN/OH/and wherever else Kroger is). You can buy good ones from the Smithsonian website.

ETA: Oops. They're sold out.

Maybe Meijer/Albertson/Safeway has them?

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

OMG I had no idea that Pier 1 had them.. or Kroger! I went to the British store in Dayton to get mine. I found some on a British online food store but they were sold out.

Next year I'll be more organised and go to Pier 1.

I've never seen them in Kroger stores in West Virginia - or in the Pier One we have here.

But they have them at Bed, Bath and Beyond (I didn't really like them though - thought they were cheesy looking).

I have always gotten ours at TJ Maxx. They have nice Tom Smith's.

Yes, I've seen them at Peir 1, Costco, World Market, my local grocery store (which is part of the Safeway chain), and I think even at Kohls
